Doma Wang Initially started her career as a Home Chef in 1992, Kolkata, by the
name of "Wangs Takeaway", over time it gained popularity leading her to open
their restaurant, Blue Poppy in 2002. Ever since it has opened 5 other outlets but
closed down 3 during pandemic.
The Blue poppy Thakali was the brain child of Sachiko Seth, Doma Wang's elder
daughter, who introduced Nepali cuisine to Kolkata along with her own signature
dishes & the Blue poppy specials.
In 2021, the Younger daughter Sonam Seth & her partner Manisha added a Kawaii
themed Bakery serving south east asian desserts & cuisines.
The Wang family's only Mantra has been to serve yummy fresh & quality food that they would have.
